With the end of World War II, oil began to be pumped in commercial quantities from the fields of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the government moved to exploit this new wealth for the development of the country. A number of self-made men sensed this change and took the initiative to participate in it. Among them was the founder of our group, our father, Abdullah Ali Al-Manjam – may God have mercy on him – (1913-1981 AD), who planted the first seed of a group of companies that are now active and influential players in their field.
